Turnip

Turnips loosely resemble an onion, and are cultivated in moderate climates worldwide for its fair, bulbous tubers. Its leaves are sometimes eaten in some parts of the world, and thought to taste like mustard greens. Turnips are usually paired with meat or soup to taste – if not, they can be just as simply cooked on their own as a puree or a side dish. Turnips have a high vitamin C content.
