Siberian Elm

Also known by the names of Asiatic Elm and Dwarf Elm, the Siberian Elm is native to Central Asia, northern China, India and Korea. The plant is widely cultivated throughout Asia, the Americas and a very small part of southern Europe. In 1950s USA, the tree was widely endorsed as a fast growing hedging substitute for Privet, and is now found in nearly all states of America.
