Plectranthus Amboinicus

Cuban oregano is a perennial plant that grows to approximately 60 centimetres and is native to South and East Africa. It grows best in warmer climates with well drained soil. It has a distinct apperance with fleshy, succulent leaves that are strongly flavored of mixed herbs, most noticeably oregano. It can be used also as a substitute for sage, and is most commonly utilized in the Caribbean for flavouring meats or stuffings.
