Common Vervain

A perennial herb of European origin, the Common Vervain grows up to a yard in height. The plant grows best in limey soils and is occasionally featured as an ornament. Held in high esteem since the Classical Antiquitym, the plant has long been associated with divinity, due to its powerful herbal properties. Medically, the Common Vervain is brewed into herbal tea which is said to be soothing.
