Clementine
Citrus Reticulata

The smallest mandarin orange, clementines are slightly flattened spheres measuring just 5 centimetres in diameter. It is subtropical plant producing seedless fruit with a glossy orange peel. It is exceptionally easy to peel and has approximately 10 juicy segments, making it a popular fruit and ingredient. It is believed to have originated in Asia or the Mediterranean, though in present day a vast majority of production and export is fro Spain, Morocco and other parts of North Africa.
