Backhousia Myrtifolia

Cinnamon myrtle is a native Australian plant with unique flavouring qualities. It grows in the subtropical climate of Eastern Australia, growing to approximately 7 metres in height. The leaves are elliptic and measure approximately 5 centimetres, and the flowers are star shaped and cream coloured. The leaves have a sweet aroma and flavour similar to cinnamon or nutmeg.
